If you don’t know, I’m a super competitive person. So anyway, I attended my first Orangetheory class. The coach checked in on me personally to make sure I was keeping up and the group environment was so motivating! If you’re thinking of trying it out, do it – as a bonus, your first class is always free! Seeing my stats on an overhead screen encouraged me to work harder, which is part of the reason I got such a good workout in. Just tried my and I’m hooked! I burned over 700 calories in an hour and actually found a workout that I enjoy, which is the most important thing. I’d been wanting to try it for a while, so I accepted. Just a few weeks ago, I was approached about a sponsored post with Orangetheory Fitness. I couldn’t stick to anything for longer than a week or two. I started trying to go to the gym and eat healthier, but a busy schedule didn’t help. After all, we’re all our own worst critics.

I’m positive I’m the only person that seens my own flaws. He couldn’t tell I put on weight since we met. My boyfriend knew my feelings about myself the most. After all, I’m a size 6 23-year-old woman – what did I have to be upset about? Given my presence on the blog and IG, almost no one knew how unhappy I was. I was busy managing the blog, my TA responsibilities, and all the grad school exams.Ī lot of people said it was all in my head. When I started grad school, I was really uphappy with my body. I think some of that stems from the independence that comes with going away to school all of the sudden, I didn’t have all those obligations anymore. I used to be super active in high school, playing both basketball and varsity golf, but once I went to college, I lost all my motivation to stay in shape. Let me be really clear: I hate working out.
